Your assessment is in our view totally correct. I recall saying to someone in a Gondola 3 years ago, who was involved in Marketing on the Hill, that we needed to do something about resort development, because Europeans have different expectations. He merely responded by saying “why do we get so many European visitors then?”.

With an attitude like this it does not surprise me that all this time later you come to the same conclusion.

It seems all that has happened is that Peaks has put on a better show. However until they have more shops, and bars in the resort and on piste bars and cafes, they don’t stand a chance of attracting the Val di Sere crowd and the like.

Still as Basil Fawlty put it ……………”you know best”
