Bramble Ski is looking for a Group Property and Maintenance Manager to join our team in Verbier.
As our Group Property and Maintenance Manager you will work with resort management teams across the company to ensure all property inventories and damage checks are completed within the given timeframes. You will be on hand to help with any questions or issues arising in properties and to advise on best course of action for resolving these issues.
Working closely alongside the Verbier resort management team, you will be the first point of contact for all damage and technical issues in properties, ensuring any issues are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible.
You will be expected to work well as part of a team and have exceptional time management skills.
The position is a richly rewarding role which will be demanding at times, meaning candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to work well in a team, and also alone, using their initiative to think ahead.

It will be expected that you will have suitable skills to undertake stainless steel polishing, wood (floor & table) polishing and repairs, painting, plastering, stain removal and upholstering.
The role requires a basic understanding of repairs and wiring.
You must have a good level of written and spoken French as well as a good level of IT skills.
Create and maintain a property file for all Verbier Bramble and Haute Montagne properties, to include inventories, current condition reports, user guides and damage reports
Create and maintain property guest books
Be first point of contact for all damage and technical issues for all properties in Verbier
Ensure all necessary property checks are undertaken before and after each rental, documenting any change in condition and damage and ensuring, GOM, RM, owners and the sales department are advised of any reported damage
Action necessary repairs in conjunction with Verbier Group Operations Manager, advising the sales department of estimated costs when it is client damage and owners when it is a chalet fault
Provide on call out of service support when necessary, delegating to the driver service as first responder if appropriate
Undertake repairs where appropriate and document time and costs to Verbier Group Operations Manager and/or sales for onward billing to clients or owners
Maintain Maintenance vehicle as per the Bramble Ski Vehicle policy
Develop and maintain relationships with Verbier/Le Chable based tradesmen, developing standard terms of trading and list of preferred suppliers for each property
In conjunction with the Group operations Manger – Verbier purchase, control and maintain any necessary tools required
Assist with staff training week, helping with any maintenance based training as instructed by the central team
Control any supplier invoices
Manage any maintenance in staff accommodation and offices
Submit weekly property reports & update on damage repairs according to the process set out by the central team
Submit weekly budget/cost sheets in line with the schedule set out by the central team
Ensure safety and security standards are applied and upheld within the properties and by all staff
12 month contract (full time in the winter, and 50% in the summer)
