Cook host

Spend the winter working and skiing in The Alps!

Bramble Ski and Haute Montagne are looking for experienced Cook Hosts to join our teams next winter in St. Anton, Lech, Val-d’Isère, Méribel, Zermatt and Verbier.

A Cook Host is responsible for cooking breakfast, cleaning the chalets daily to the highest standards, and undertaking front-of-house duties including serving the guests’ meals and drinks, lighting fires and ensuring guests have everything they need during their stay. You will be responsible for the upkeep of the chalet, from changing linen, to keeping children entertained whilst parents have a glass of champagne in the hot tub.

Most Bramble Ski and Haute Montagne’s Cook Hosts have a wealth of experience in one or many of the following sectors; luxury ski chalet companies, top-end events and catering companies, luxury hotels, super yacht or luxury barge host or hostesses and can all demonstrate the ability to clean to the highest standard. Cooking experience is essential and you will receive training at the start of the season on Bramble breakfast menus and how to prepare them the Bramble way.

The position is a richly rewarding role which will be demanding at times, meaning candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to work well in a team, and also alone, using their initiative to think ahead.

Above else, Bramble Ski and Haute Montagne are looking for dedicated, professional and passionate individuals who will look after guests in the utmost discreet and luxury manner.

Requirements

  • Bramble Ski and Haute Montagne are looking for serious, hardworking candidates who love of the mountains
  • Previous experience as either a luxury chalet host, a waiter or waitress in a high-end restaurant or events company, a butler or, a concierge
  • Cooking experience in a professional kitchen, completion of a recognized cookery course or catering for large groups
  • You can show excellent cleaning experience in the hospitality sector
  • You will be available to work full time from the end of November 2018 to the end of April 2019
  • A Full driving licence
  • A portrait photo of yourself and no visible tattoos
  • British/EU passport holders only. If applying for France, we can only accept UK passport holders currently
