This beautiful, standalone ski chalet blends traditional architecture with contemporary furnishings and sits situated in its own peaceful grounds a 10-minute drive from the centre of Megève. The chalet has been finished internally to the highest standards, with a stylish and inviting feel throughout. Guests are also only a 5-minute drive from the Mont d'Arbois ski lift, that whisks you up the mountain to explore the beautiful 400 km of pistes.
Entering the property, you are welcomed by the marble-floored hallway. Here you will find the four chic double bedrooms, each given unique flair through statement throws, cushions and ambient lighting. Each room has its own en-suite shower room or bathroom, and the master boasts a spacious dressing room plus a hammam shower within its en-suite. Three of the rooms have TVs, two have desks and all of them enjoy terrace access. These are ideal spaces to recuperate after exciting days spent exploring the vast ski area or the pretty Medieval town.
Venturing upstairs, you are led into the main living floor, where a vaulted ceiling gives an impressive effect and allows in plenty of light through the large windows. The living area is centred around a wood-burning fireplace and accented in greens, neutral tones and matte black. A large L-shaped sofa invites you to spend snowy evenings around the fireplace with loved ones, or enjoying a movie together on the wall-mounted TV. On the mezzanine level above, there is a snug reading nook, perfect for retreating to with a good book while the snow gently settles outside.
Plush olive-green velvet stools line the sleek bar which links the living area to the dining area, which seats up to 10 in comfortable and stylish patterned chairs. Huge statement golden pendant lights hang above the table, adding a warm glow and cosy, luxurious ambience to the space. A hatch into the kitchen allows for easy service or sociable cooking.
Divided from the dining room by a discreet sliding door is the well-equipped kitchen. Generous surfaces provide ample space for cooking and you’ll find all the high-end appliances you may require. The living floor opens out via sliding glass doors onto a spacious semi-covered balcony, where an outdoor table seating eight invites you to enjoy sunny al fresco breakfasts when the weather permits. There is also a guest WC on this floor.
Situated on the lower ground floor of this impressive mountain home is a spacious TV room. Boasting an inviting sofa and a big flat screen, it is perfect for entertaining the children with an after-dinner movie. Also on this floor is the ski room and laundry room, plus a large garage where up to 4 cars can park. There is one further external parking space outdoors.
The chalet is located a 5-minute drive from the nearest ski lift and a 10-minute drive from the centre of Megeve.
