We are looking for an exceptional candidate to lead our resort team in Méribel, France.
You need to will combine an enthusiastic and professional approach for both our brands; Bramble Ski and Haute Montagne, and most importantly you will show genuine passion for and knowledge of the luxury travel industry.
You will be required to manage and run all operational areas of the resort and the team, nurture owner and supplier relationships and build our reputation and brand in the incredible Three Valleys.
You will be a hardworking, multi-tasker with exceptional attention to detail. Working as part of small team, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a great team player.
You will need at least two seasons experience managing a luxury chalet operation or similar and a minimum 2 years in a management role in luxury hospitality.
The role requires thorough operational and first class human resources skills as well as a proven ability to learn quickly, with a flexible approach to travel and working hours.
You must be completely fluent in English and have French as a first or second language.
Overall resort responsibility for ensuring the company service and operational policies and standards are met and exceeded.
Lead and encourage your resort team to deliver consistently excellent service to our clients, ensuring compliance with local laws and standard working practice regulations set by the country you work in.
Manage and coordinate the resort accounts, budgets, company property and stock.
Building strong relationships with chalet owners and suppliers and developing new business where possible.
As this contract will be 10 months, you will be part of the team setting up and preparing the resort for the coming winter. This will include building on and improving supplier partnerships, sourcing staff accommodation where needed and preparing our chalets for the winter ahead.
You will need to develop excellent knowledge of all the Bramble Ski and Haute Montagne products, services and the resorts we operate in, to ensure all our clients are best informed.
Maintain a friendly, courteous, service-orientated, professional, outgoing mindset throughout all interactions with staff, chalet owners, agents, clients and suppliers.
You will have a willing and positive approach to learn and participate in training, and to continue this mindset with the introduction of new products and services.
Represent the Bramble Ski and Haute Montagne brands at supplier and owner meetings, events and resort familiarisation trips.
