Winter Events

Megève in January 2023 will play host to the Skicross World Cup. This exhilarating competition also features a night sprint event, and spanning over a weekend it is sure to be a spectacle to watch.

March 2023 will see the finest young Alpine skiers compete in the Skiopen Coq d’Or. Bringing together ESF students and those from other sports clubs, budding talents are scouted at this major national event spanning over 4 days of celebrations and fun.

Summer Events

Each year, Megève welcomes the world-famous Tour de France to town. The riders will cross the finish line of one of the stages in the centre of the village after a gruelling mountain section. The tour will then roll out of the village for the start of the next stage. It is a true spectacle to behold the athletes on part of this renowned course.

A highlight of the summer calendar is the Megève Edmond de Rothschild CSI*** International Show-Jumping Festival. Some of the finest equestrians from around the globe gather in July for six glamorous days of show-jumping in the village centre.

For music lovers, Megève presents the Megève Blues Festival. The sultry sounds float across the flower-filled meadows in early August, providing a magical backdrop to witness performances from internationally renowned musicians.
