Keen to try your hand at freestyle? The 165 square meter Big Airbag allows you to safely practice your tricks and jumps. Installed each winter in the Rochebrune ski area, it offers the chance for beginners and pros alike to push their limits.

Events in Megève
Winter Events
Megève in January 2023 will play host to the Skicross World Cup. This exhilarating competition also features a night sprint event, and spanning over a weekend it is sure to be a spectacle to watch.
March 2023 will see the finest young Alpine skiers compete in the Skiopen Coq d’Or. Bringing together ESF students and those from other sports clubs, budding talents are scouted at this major national event spanning over 4 days of celebrations and fun.
Summer Events
Each year, Megève welcomes the world-famous Tour de France to town. The riders will cross the finish line of one of the stages in the centre of the village after a gruelling mountain section. The tour will then roll out of the village for the start of the next stage. It is a true spectacle to behold the athletes on part of this renowned course.
A highlight of the summer calendar is the Megève Edmond de Rothschild CSI*** International Show-Jumping Festival. Some of the finest equestrians from around the globe gather in July for six glamorous days of show-jumping in the village centre.
For music lovers, Megève presents the Megève Blues Festival. The sultry sounds float across the flower-filled meadows in early August, providing a magical backdrop to witness performances from internationally renowned musicians.
Travelling to Megève
Airports
Megève is situated in the Haute-Savoie region of France with three major airports less than three hours away. In closest proximity is Geneva airport, which is only an hour’s drive away. Chambery airport is 1.5 hours away and Grenoble is a 2-hour drive away.
Transfers

Trains
Megève is close to Sallanches railway station, just 12km away, which allows easy access to Megève by rail from London, Paris, and other major European cities. There are direct trains from Paris to Sallanches at weekends and there are also direct trains to Sallanches from Geneva.
Self-Driving
Megève is easy to reach by car and our luxury chalets have off-street parking to keep your vehicles safe. Please do let us know if you plan to drive to the resort and we can provide you with directions.
