The state of the art indoor sports centre arl.rock, completed in 2009, offers a combination of indoor and outdoor climbing routes in an area of almost 1,000m2 including boulder, lead, fixed-rope, and ice-climbing, as well as the new climbing trend of dry-tooling. The centre also boasts a four-lane bowling alley and indoor tennis and squash courts.

For those looking for something less physical, the wellness centre in St. Anton gives you the perfect excuse to have a relaxing massage or to spend the day sunbathing and swimming in one of their outdoor pools.

Winter Events

St. Anton celebrates the start of the season with the yearly RTL2
Aprés Ski Hits party. The world famous Mooserwirt hosts one of Austria's premium radio stations for their season opener, with plenty of live music too.

The end of each season sees the legendary Weiße Rausch, a Chinese downhill race from the Valuga ridge to the village centre. An epic 555 skiers, snowboarders, and telemarkers congregate for a mass start after the ski lifts close. The atmosphere is electric, both on and off the slopes, for this final flurry of the season.

Summer Events

St. Anton offers numerous cultural fixtures with many traditional Austrian folk events throughout the summer. One such event is the St. Anton village festival, where locals proudly parade through the streets of the village in traditional national dress accompanied by brass bands to celebrate the Alpine region.

St. Anton hosted the Mountain Film Festival in late August, where the industries' elite meet to introduce their films and give an insight into their impressive experiences and adventures.

Travelling to St. Anton

Airports

St. Anton am Arlberg is situated in the Tirol region of Austria, close to the Swiss and German borders. Innsbruck airport is conveniently located an hour's drive from the resort. Zurich, Switzerland (2.5 hours transfer) and Friedrichshafen, Germany (1.45 hours transfer) are other options for airports in which to land.

Trains

St. Anton am Arlberg Railway Station is just a stone's throw from the village centre. Railjet-trains stop here as well as the Venice-Simplon Orient-Express.

Self-Drive

Bramble Ski can arrange off-road parking for your vehicle. You are legally required to be fitted with winter tyres. You are also legally required to have snow chains for travelling on some of the resort roads during certain weather conditions. An Austrian vignette (road tax) for driving on motorways can be purchased at garages or at the border. Make sure you contact us to inform us of your approximate arrival time if you are travelling by car.
