Bramble Ski to commence operations in Zermatt

Here at Bramble Ski headquarters, we are brimming with excitement and delighted to share the news that we will be commencing operations with the first of our luxury chalets in Zermatt at the beginning of the 2015/16 winter season.

We have had a patient eye on the picturesque town of Zermatt for several years now, believing that the resort perfectly complements our existing portfolio in locations like Verbier, Gstaad, and Lech. As the highest-altitude ski area in Europe, Zermatt offers abundant skiing for all levels, exceptional scenery, and an enchanting resort life that is rich in Swiss mountain culture. Now, we can share the first external images of Chalet Shalimar (see below). To bring the property up to standard with the other properties in our portfolio, the owner has agreed to invest in the interior furnishings and decor. We will share images of the interior as they are ready.

Chalet Shalimar is located in the quiet area of Winkelmatten giving it excellent ski-in, ski-out access in good snow conditions, and incredible balcony views towards Zermatt’s iconic Matterhorn. Set over four floors, the property boasts a swimming pool, sauna, hammam, and massage treatment room in the basement shared by the apartments above.

Above these facilities sits a four-bedroom ground floor apartment. Above this are two three-bedroom duplex apartments each sleeping six. These can combine to offer a larger six-bedroom option to groups of 12. The whole building also provides an excellent option for larger corporate groups of up to 20 people. All of the ten bedrooms in the building have en-suite bathrooms.
