We are recruiting now!
Have you ever dreamed of living and working in the mountains? Do you crave an escape from the norm? Do you enjoy building meaningful relationships with your colleagues? Want to work for a company that puts emphasis on growing your skills and confidence?
…and are you passionate about creating amazing experiences for people?
Then look no further, there’s a place for you at Bramble Ski.
This year, we are recruiting for a vast array of positions, both annual and seasonal – across all our resorts. With bases in some of the most exclusive resorts in Switzerland, France and Austria, our dynamic and dedicated teams have truly set the standard for luxury ski holidays.
We were acquired by Le Collectionist in July 2021, a market-leading luxury rental agency who help clients to create their dream villa holidays in Europe and beyond. Now that we have joined forces, we can offer an unrivalled selection of luxurious villas too, so that between us, we have all seasons covered!
Exciting things lie ahead for us, and we are always on the look out for the brightest talent and best personalities to add to our growing numbers. Currently, we are recruiting people to work in our central team, based in Le Châble just outside of Verbier – which was voted the ‘world’s best ski resort’ in the 2021/22 season.
In preparation for what is predicted to be one of our busiest seasons yet, we are also on the hunt for brilliant in-resort staff – from Chefs to Drivers, Housekeepers to Resort Managers.
In 2003, four university friends united over their love of skiing, and Bramble Ski was born.
Starting with just one chalet in the off-piste mecca of Verbier, their mission was to extend the luxury in-chalet experience onto the slopes, with three of the four directors being qualified ski instructors. They believed that this resort, with its rich mix of incredible skiing, fantastic properties, and renowned nightlife, held all the attributes necessary to build a successful chalet business, and they were right!
From just one chalet in our first season of operation, we have grown to become the largest operator of luxury properties in this exclusive resort, as well as expanding to five further locations with great success. We also now have two sister brands; Haute Montagne for the ultra-luxury market, and Lagom, for the more eco-concious luxury traveller.
We have come a long way since those humble origins, but we are never content with standing still, and are constantly looking at refining our service levels, scouting the latest luxury properties, and expanding into other exclusive resorts in the Alps.
Verbier is the jewel in the crown of the world-renowned Four Valleys ski area in south-west Switzerland, famous for its extensive and varied piste network and excellent off-piste terrain. Also famed for its après ski in places like Le Farinet, its world-class restaurants and its vibrant nightlife, there is never a dull moment here – and besides the up-market haunts, you’ll find a lively community and non-stop fun events. Verbier has a truly authentic seasonnaire feel to it.
Zermatt village, resting at 1,620m above sea level, is widely recognised as one of the most beautiful resorts in the world. Being car-free, you’ll arrive drinking in the fresh alpine air and marvelling at the iconic peak of the Matterhorn – a beacon which attracts every level of winter sports enthusiast. Known for it’s fantastic culinary scene, it boasts a wide range of bars and restaurants like Papperla and Hotel Post. Don’t believe people if they say Zermatt is cold and dark, it’s residents and workers help to create and warm and vibrant atmosphere all season!
As soon as you arrive to Val d’Isère during the winter you are welcomed to a snowy wonderland, with foot upon foot of fluffy powder blanketing the pretty town on a regular basis. This is one of Europe’s most snow-sure destinations, with over 60% of the pistes above 2,200m. Famous for its lively après, you’ll find the notorious Folie Douce at the top of the mountain, Cocorico at the bottom and a real buzz in the town with live music events dotted around amongst the well-loved bars. This popular resort attracts visitors from around the globe, and you’ll be sure to meet plenty of like-minded people.
Méribel lies in the heart of the world famous Les 3 Vallées, the largest ski area in the world, boasting a huge network of lifts, pistes, and exclusive accommodation. The village itself is charming and a little more laid-back than some of its neighbours – whilst still offering an impressive array of bars and restaurants like Le Rond Point, embodying everything great about a winter chalet destination both for guests and staff. On snowier days, the Olympic Park has a huge pool, climbing walls and an ice rink, so you’ll never run out of things to try here!
One of the most glamorous resorts in Europe, Lech is bursting with chocolate-box charm – on top of boasting the highest average snowfall of all major resorts in the Alps! It’s world-renowned lift system, amazing hospitality and a long tradition of skiing make Lech a very well-established resort that sets the standard. Although it’s fair to say Lech shies away from the raucous après scene of its neighbour St. Anton, those that want to sample it can easily reach St. Anton by piste or a taxi ride. That said, don’t be fooled that “Lechers” don’t know how to party – just don’t give their secrets away when you spot the world’s best DJs playing in the bars and clubs from time to time!
St. Anton is both stunningly picturesque and traditionally alpine – exuding personality, charm, and charisma. The Arlberg ski area provides 340km of fantastically varied pistes, as well as numerous patrolled off-piste itineraries, and some of the best off-piste skiing in the world. As much for the powder snow, St. Anton is renowned for its après scene, with the legendary Mooserwirt and Krazy Kanguruh awaiting you on your days off. Meanwhile, state of the art indoor sports centre arl.park offers a combination of indoor and outdoor climbing routes, a bowling alley, and indoor tennis, table tennis and squash courts.
It’s not hard to be proud to work for Bramble Ski; with a lot of dedication and a great team, we’ve progressed a long way from our very first chalet to now having over 100 properties in the most prestigious locations in the Alps. Now, our name is synonymous with the highest standards in the luxury ski industry.
We recruit incredible people with fantastic attitudes, experience and personalities, so that our excellent standards are consistent – from the chalets we choose right down to the way our hosts serve morning coffee with a genuine smile.
We all have one thing in common. We are all true mountain-lovers who value the incredible quality of life that comes with living and working in the beautiful Alps, and who share a work hard, play hard attitude.
The wonderful people we hire all bring something unique and special, and we support every individual to grow and flourish. Whether you join the huge number of year on year returners, or if you’re with us for just one season, you’ll feel a part of the Bramble Family forever.
During training at the start of each season, you’ll by coached by the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, widely regarded as the world’s best hospitality school, giving you the skills and confidence to offer impeccable service.
We use handmade outfits designed by Lodenfrey and Gottseidank along with outerwear by Peak Performance, because when you look your best, you’ll feel your best and when you feel your best, you’ll perform amazingly.
The opportunity to work in some of Europe’s finest chalets will not only give you a competitive edge in future, but will make your day-to-day work truly rewarding. The most valuable thing you’ll take away? Memories to last a lifetime.
We have some very exciting annual opportunities at the moment in our growing central team!
