Whats fresh and revived in Verbier

As the party spirit of Verbier awakens with the start of another ski season,  I poked about to see which Verbier hotspots are new and what’s improved on the block. Here’s my list of treats that are in store for those spending time in Verbier this winter.

Le Mouton Noir (The Black Sheep): Offering a new place to dine and party on the slopes this season is the brand new après ski bar positioned at the top of the Médran lift. The skiers “flocking” there this winter will enjoy an outdoor bar, dance floor, resident DJ, and live music all against the superb backdrop of the sun setting over Verbier. This new exciting addition to Verbier’s après ski scene opens this Friday (December 12th).

Etoiles Rouge: From the creators of the ever-popular Le Rouge, Etoiles Rouge is Verbier’s first ever supper club where you can dine and dance under the same roof. The Scandinavian and eastern European-influenced menu will include Kamchatka crab, locally smoked wild salmon, assorted house taramas, smoked beef tartar, and a selection of fish eggs and caviar, all washed down with the finest array of champagnes and vodkas.

Nomad Sushi Lounge: Verbier’s trendy sushi venue is relocating to the Hotel Nevaï. Three of Verbier’s most formidable restaurant personalities have teamed up to present Nomad Sushi Lounge, where diners can feast on sushi as well as a selection of meat options from the new Sumibiyaki Grill. DJs, cocktail-slinging barmen, and an alluring atmosphere should ensure you stay way beyond dinner time. The new Nomad Sushi lounge opens to the public this Thursday (December 11th)

Le Farinet: The brand new makeover is promising a VIP section in the lounge, an open log fire, as well as some beautiful new furnishings. Après Ski is staying the same just with more toffee vodka and more dancing on the bar!

New Piste in Verbier: The new 1,000m-long red piste starts at Les Plannards and leads all the way down to the top of the nursery slope at Les Esserts providing the perfect solution for people wanting to ski back from Savoleyres.

And lastly, what’s new for Bramble Ski: Bramble Ski are delighted to promote a selection of gorgeous new chalets joining our established collection of hand-picked properties in Verbier. The stunning new Chalet Sirocco is one of these latest additions. Perched high on the Savoleyres side of the mountain, this sumptuous luxury chalet is one of kind. Sleeping eight people in four bedrooms, there is an indoor swimming pool and wellness spa, as well as entertainment zones.
