The world’s best: All to be revealed at World Ski Awards 2017
If you’ve been following our recent blog posts and social media updates, you are probably aware by now that Bramble Ski and Haute Montagne feature a record-breaking number of ski properties in this year’s industry event in Kitzbühel, the World Ski Awards 2017.
We are incredibly excited to have nominees across three prestigious categories – ‘France’s Best Ski Chalet’, ‘Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet’ and ‘Austria’s Best Ski Chalet’ – but there are two further awards that we are nominated for that we are proud to announce: ‘World’s Best New Ski Chalet’ and ‘World’s Best Ski Tour Operator’.
Every year, the World Ski Awards celebrates the industry’s finest properties, as well as the most innovative and exciting ski tour operators on the planet. Voting closes tomorrow so please read on and then give a couple of minutes of your time to vote.
World’s Best New Ski Chalet
Our wonderful Sirocco took home the crown in 2015, and this year our fingers are crossed in the World Ski Awards 2017 for our new property in Méribel, France – Chalet Alpaca.
Alpaca enters the market for the first time this year, and, having already been nominated in this monumental category, has proven its worth as a stand-alone contender for ‘World’s Best New Ski Chalet’.
This brand new property sleeps 14 people across six bedrooms and has been designed with meticulous detail throughout, creating a chic and sophisticated luxury ski chalet that’s truly one-of-a-kind. Features such as a large outdoor heated swimming pool, traditional copper hot tub, a unique indoor climbing room, private cinema and games room and exceptional panoramic views of the alpine landscape give Alpaca an extra dimension.

World’s Best Ski Tour Operator
Bramble Ski is delighted to be nominated in the category of ‘World’s Best Ski Tour Operator’ at the 2017 World Ski Awards. Having been a finalist for the past four years, we are yet to receive the award which has always gone to much larger and less niche operators.
As a growing, dynamic business, we may not have as many clients as other nominees in this category, but we do have happy, enthusiastic clientele that return time and time again to embrace our high-end hospitality and bespoke luxury services. This year – and with your help – we hope to be victorious in this category; giving Bramble Ski recognition for its strong position in the industry, and showcasing its dedication to making the dream of luxury alpine living a reality. For the last couple of years our slogan has been ‘Redefining the luxury chalet industry’ and we are proud about taking this on and pushing the industry forward

World’s Best Ski Chalet
There is one chalet to rival all chalets, and only the best will take home the coveted ‘World’s Best Ski Chalet’ award. The winner of this category will be decided once each individual country’s ‘Best Ski Chalet’ finalist has been put forward. The chalet with the most public votes will then take this eminent award home.
With ten exceptional Bramble Ski and Haute Montagne chalets in the mix, our fingers are crossed that one of our properties will take home the title this year. Yet we are under no illusions that there are some extraordinary properties up for the award, making it a tough one to win.
