Tender Easter Roast Lamb

This tasty traditional favourite is sure to be an Easter showstopper when done right. Serve with mint sauce, rosemary roasties, sweet dijon-glazed carrots, grilled Mediterranean veg or lemony spring greens.

“Remove the lamb from the refrigerator and allow it to sit at room temperature for at least 45 minutes, which will allow for more even cooking and help prevent the lamb from drying out.

When roasting, add lamb stock to water to cover the bottom of the roasting tray, along with aromatics such as rosemary, thyme and garlic. This will all add flavour and keep the lamb moist. The leftover juices can then be used to make a delicious rich gravy.

Ensure you allow at least 15 minutes of resting time after cooking, to lock in moisture and flavour, and to make for easier carving.”

Setting the Scene

The Easter table is the frame for the masterpiece that will be your Easter meal! So make it whimsical and beautiful.

You can spend hours scouring Pinterest to find clever Easter tips for decorating, and a look that suits not only your personal style, but also pairs well with other elements in your dining room interior. From laid-back, chic decorations to cheerful, pastel table set-ups, here are a few tips that can work, whatever your style.

Enjoy an Easter Tree

The fresh-faced Springtime cousin of the Christmas tree, we can assemble and decorate a beautiful Easter tree in your chalet, adorned with cheerful and festive decorations to add that extra magical touch to your stay that the children will love.

Fresh Flower Centrepiece

For the finishing touch, add a fresh flower centrepiece. This floral arrangement exemplifies the fresh, pristine beauty of nature in the spring season. Let pops of pink pepper your Easter table and add that extra soupçon of style with matching bows and ribbons. We can arrange for the perfect Easter bouquet plus additional decorations to be awaiting you in your chalet on arrival.

Outdoor Easter Table

Bring the fun outside by hosting an alfresco Easter dinner in the spring sunshine. Start off by placing a burlap runner down the centre of the table. Then, take some lush Swiss chard and arrange it in Mason jars. Take these and an array of fresh vegetables, such as carrots, radishes, and beets, and arrange them as you see fit for a colourful and seasonal spread that is something a little different to the usual pastel adornments.

Mini Bird-Nest Place Setting

Using coloured scrapbooking papers, creating a charming Easter place setting is a cinch. Shred your scrapbooking papers into tiny strips, and form them into nests. Place truffle chocolate eggs or a dyed Easter egg in the centre of each nest. For the kids, tuck away these adorable Easter goodies throughout the home for your Easter egg hunt.

Easter-Egg Placemat

Keep the children immersed in your holiday celebration as they unleash their creativity making placemats from Easter colouring pages. Incredibly festive, the kids can decorate their placemats as they please! Whether with colouring pencils, paints, or sequins, these placemats are sure to sparkle.

Try a Carrot Bouquet

To make your Easter special, create a nature-filled home. With a carrot bouquet centrepiece, your springtime tablescape is bound to be playful. As the centrepiece, fill a clear vase to the brim with thoroughly-washed carrots, tips down. There is no need to peel them, and you will want the leaves peeping out. Add spring flowers of similarly sunny shades: yellow and orange ranunculus, tulips, and daffodils, among others.
