We are delighted to announce that Bramble Ski and Haute Montagne have been nominated in a record-breaking five categories for the industry’s annual World Ski Awards, the winners of which will be announced in Kitzbühel in November.
The winners are decided by public and industry vote which is open from now until September 22nd. We have curated what we think is one of the most exciting portfolios of exclusively-operated luxury apartments and luxury stand-alone chalets across the Alps, which we pair with incredibly talented and well-trained hospitality professionals who deliver bespoke service levels to cater to the varying requirements of our very exacting clientele.
Überhaus in Lech has won Austria’s Best Ski Chalet for the past two years and we believe this fantastic piste-side chalet has every chance of winning for a third consecutive year. Chalet 1597 has also won this title in the past and has been nominated again along with Chalet Maria Schnee in St. Anton.
In Switzerland, Bella Coola is a previous winner of Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet in the World Ski Awards and is a finalist again this year along with four other chalets on our portfolio. We are particularly excited about Chalet Aconcagua in Zermatt, one of the most exciting new developments in the Alps and proving incredibly popular among our clients.
Our luxury chalet Sirocco won the title of World’s Best New Ski Chalet two years ago and we think we have a fantastic opportunity to regain this prestigious title this year with the beautiful Alpaca in Méribel which enters the rental market for the first time this season.
Finally, but not least, Bramble Ski is a nominee in the category of World’s Best Ski Tour Operator for the World Ski Awards. We have been a finalist in this category for the past four years, but the award has always been given to larger operators with more mass reach than we have in our niche high-end market. We hope with your support that we can finally clinch this elusive title in recognition of driving the industry and the traditional chalet concept forward into the modern era of luxury ski holiday hospitality.
There is one final category that we may be in the running for, World’s Best Ski Chalet. The winners of each country’s Best Ski Chalet category are put forward to compete for the title of the best in the world. The chalet with the most votes takes home this title. We are delighted to have an extraordinary ten chalets nominated across the three countries in which we operate, however, the thorn in our side is that votes are likely to be spread across this fine collection of properties, making this particular title a difficult one for us to win.
That said, we know that the collection we have assembled is among the finest on the planet and with your support, we believe we have a chance not only in the country categories but in the three World categories that we have been nominated in. The industry is changing rapidly with many fantastic chalets and operators out there making the competition tough, so we are delighted to get this far.
Please take a minute to follow the links to the five categories in which we feature below and cast your vote. Every vote counts, but remember, industry votes carry five times the weight so if you are in the hospitality industry please ensure you register this!
Thank you to those of you who nominated us … roll on November and Kitzbühel for the announcement of the winners!
