During Christmas week, the village center transforms into a winter wonderland, featuring giant snow and ice sculptures, a magnificent nativity crib, and captivating shows and family-friendly concerts. The festivities reach their peak on December 24th when Father Christmas himself arrives in style on a horse-drawn sledge.

Ski Racing Events

Val d’Isère‘s passion for ski racing is legendary. It hosts a crucial stop on either the men’s or women’s FIS World Cup tour each year, attracting the world’s top ski racers to test their mettle on the infamous Bellevarde slope. The atmosphere in the resort is nothing short of electric during this thrilling race weekend.
