    The Mountain

    Nestled at 1,300m and with lifts ascending to an altitude of 2,800m, St Anton and the world renowned Arlberg ski area provides 340km of fantastically varied pistes offering superbly prepared slopes for all ability levels. It offers challenging deep-snow runs, numerous patrolled off-piste itineraries, and some of the best off-piste skiing in the world. The views from many of our St Anton ski chalets are breathtaking and conveniently located close to the ski lifts on the mountain.

    Mountain Guiding

    When you ski in St Anton you will enjoy some of the very best off-piste skiing in the world and it is also the home to a number of excellent guides. We have worked with St Anton Classic for the last four years and can highly recommend their guiding service however we can tailor the service and guide to each individual’s needs.

    Heli-skiing

    The Arlberg region is the only region in Austria where heli-skiing is available. We can book you the most thrilling and spectacular day high up above the luxury chalets in St Anton.

Among the multitude of options, the legendary Mooserwirt and Krazy Kangaroo await you at the slope’s side above St Anton at the end of your day’s skiing.     It Does Not All Have to Be About Skiing in St Anton

    If you do not ski or fancy a break from the slopes there is so much more to do in St Anton. Snowshoeing, paragliding, ice-climbing or tobogganing trips can be organised to satisfy the adrenaline junkies among you. The state of the art indoor sports centre arl.rock, offers a combination of indoor and outdoor climbing routes in an area of almost 1,000m2 including boulder, lead, fixed-rope, and ice-climbing, as well as the new climbing trend of dry-tooling. The centre also boasts a four-lane bowling alley, indoor tennis, table tennis and squash courts.

    Spa and Fitness

    For those looking for something less physical, the wellness centre in St Anton gives you the perfect excuse to have a relaxing massage or to spend the day sunbathing and swimming in one of their outdoor pools.

    Further Afield

    Innsbruck is just over an hour away from St Anton, the capital of the Tyrol region. This beautiful city is renowned for its imperial and modern architecture. Traditional colourful buildings line the main streets and squares and the city are surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains.

Whether hiking over 300km of signposted trails, climbing, Nordic walking, or white water rafting through dramatic gorges, this Alpine mountain world offers ample opportunities and challenges.

    Biking in St Anton

    The crisp, clear mountain air and undulating terrain are suited perfectly to the different forms of cycling. From road biking over Alpine passes to mountain biking along more than 200km of marked routes, the Arlberg has biking covered.

    Water Sports in St Anton

    The local lakes and mountain rivers offer the opportunity for kayaking, rafting, canyoning, and tubing. Accompanied by experienced guides, you can savour the mountain scenery from a different perspective.

    Events in St Anton

    Winter Events

    St Anton celebrates the start of the season with the yearly ‘Aprés Ski Hits’ party. The world-famous Mooserwirt hosts one of Austria’s premium radio stations for their season opener, with plenty of live music too.

    The end of each season sees the legendary Weiße Rausch, a Chinese downhill race from the Valuga ridge to the village centre. An epic 555 skiers, snowboarders, and telemarkers congregate for a mass start after the ski lifts close. The atmosphere is electric, both on and off the slopes, for this final flurry of the season.

    Summer Events

    St Anton offers numerous cultural fixtures with many traditional Austrian folk events throughout the summer. One such event is the St Anton village festival, where locals proudly parade through the streets of the village in traditional national dress accompanied by brass bands to celebrate the Alpine region.

    St Anton hosted the Mountain Film Festival in late August, where the industries’ elite meet to introduce their films and give an insight into their impressive experiences and adventures.

    Travelling to St Anton

    Airports

    St Anton am Arlberg is situated in the Tirol region of Austria, close to the Swiss and German borders. Innsbruck airport is conveniently located an hour’s drive from the resort. Zurich, Switzerland (2.5 hours transfer) and Friedrichshafen, Germany (1.45 hours transfer) are other options for airports in which to land.

    Trains

    St Anton am Arlberg Railway Station is just a stone’s throw from the village centre. Railjet-trains stop here as well as the Venice-Simplon Orient-Express.

    Self-Drive

    Bramble Ski can arrange off-road parking for your vehicle. You are legally required to be fitted with winter tyres. You are also legally required to have snow chains for travelling on some of the resort roads during certain weather conditions. An Austrian vignette (road tax) for driving on motorways can be purchased at garages or at the border. Make sure you contact us to inform us of your approximate arrival time if you are travelling by car.
