The Captivating Heart of the World Famous Trois Valles

The Mountain

Sitting at 1,450m in the beautiful Les Allues Valley, the charming ski village of Méribel occupies one of the most enviable positions in the Alps. Perched in the middle of the Trois Vallées, one of the world’s largest ski areas, Méribel provides endless opportunities for even the most discerning skier.

Skiers have access to over 600km of pistes and a network of over 160 lifts from the doorstep of their luxury chalet in Méribel. With runs varying in distance from 1,450m to 3,200m, there are a plethora of choices for skiers of all abilities as well as ample off-piste options.

Mountain Guiding

If you prefer to ski off the beaten track, away from the crowds, we can arrange mountain guides to take you to those hidden powder stashes.

Heli Skiing

From the Méribel Altiport you are only a short helicopter flight to the Italian border where you can enjoy an exhilarating day of skiing fresh powder with an experienced mountain guide.

Ski Instruction

We work with well-established local ski instructors in Méribel to ensure that you get the most out of your time on the slopes. They have the inside track on the best spots to ski and whether you are beginner or expert, they will direct you to all the best spots in the Trois Vallées. We can also arrange group lessons or mountain guides for the more adventurous.

Méribel Village

Méribel Has All the Allure and Atmosphere That One Would Hope for in One of the Top Ski Resorts in France. The Pretty Village is Dotted Throughout With Quaint Chalets and Nestles Beautifully in an Alpine Haven. It Rubs Shoulders With Neighbours Val Thorens and Courchevel.

Méribel is as much known for its world class skiing as its après ski, restaurants, and shopping. There is as much to do off the slopes as there is on. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast, lover of extreme sports, or simply enjoy relaxing in the breathtaking mountain surrounds, Méribel has something to offer everyone.

Après Ski

Méribel has a plethora of après ski bars. The most famous of all is La Folie Douce which sits at the mid-station of La Saulire. Here you can dance the afternoon away on the tables surrounded by spectacular views or sit back and enjoy the colour and sounds of the afternoon cabaret. For those that want to continue the party further down the mountain, head to the Rond Point and then onto any one of the many bars in the village.

Méribel Restaurants

Les Trois Vallées has some of the best restaurant in the Alps, both on and off the slopes. Allow our team to make your reservations for lunch and dinner. Whether your choice is a long, luxurious lunch at a fine-dining restaurant with outstanding views or a quick and delicious bite as you ski your way through Les Trois Vallées, the resort restaurants can satisfy all appetites.

For the chalet team’s night off, we can book your group a table at one of the many delicious restaurants in the village. From Michelin-starred restaurants to traditional Savoyard cuisine, Méribel’s restaurants cater for all tastes.

Bars and Nightclubs

For those looking to continue the party after dinner, there are an abundance of bars and clubs to be found in the village offering live music and DJs.

Winter Activities

Méribel is Not Only a Playground for Skiers.

Winter Related

If you can’t or don’t ski, or you’re looking to try your hand at some other winter sports, Méribel will not disappoint.

As well as the traditional mountain activities of tobogganing, snowshoeing and husky rides, visitors to the resort can also opt for horse-drawn sleigh rides, ski joring (getting pulled behind a horse while on skis) and snowmobile tours. Of course, taking to the skies in a light aircraft to see the full splendour of the Alps is also an option.

Spa and Fitness

The Olympic Centre is a sports and recreation facility which includes an ice rink, swimming pool, and a spa and fitness centre. It is the ideal place to entertain families on snowy days. There is also an indoor climbing wall and a bowling alley in the village.

If you feel like a day off from the slopes to relax and unwind, there are several spas to choose from in the village such as the Spa Nuxe at the Hotel Kaïla, a decadent space for complete relaxation.

Summer in Méribel

The Alps are often overlooked as a summer destination, but there are many magical Alpine adventures and experiences waiting for visitors in the summer months.

The atmosphere in the summer is very relaxed and peaceful, and the pace of life is slow. However, there is plenty on offer to keep visitors entertained, including mountain biking, hiking, climbing, and parapenting.

Mountain Biking

Whether you prefer downhill or enduro mountain biking, Méribel has an abundance of marked trails winding down the mountain offering spectacular views when you take a moment to catch your breath. For those that want to take in the scenery, but prefer to take it easier, you can hire electric bikes and opt for one of the four dedicated electric bike trails.

Hiking in Méribel

There are hundreds of trails winding through the flower-filled alpine meadows of Méribel. You can walk through the stunning Tuéda National Park taking in the local flora and fauna and soaking up the tranquility of the Alps in the summer months. For an extra insight into local history, ecology, and glaciology, why not book a mountain guide to accompany you on a hike?

Via Ferrata

Via Ferrata is quickly becoming on of the most popular summer activities in the Alps . The Méribel Via Ferrata allows you to explore the high mountains and normally hard to reach spots by a series of fixed ropes and bridges. For the entire experience, you are harnessed and attached to a safety rope, meaning that the whole family can join in.

Travelling to Meribel

Champery airport is the closest to Méribel, only a one and a half hour’s drive from the resort. Grenoble, Geneva and Lyon airports are also easily accessible options, just over 2 hours transfer drive time from Méribel.

The closest train station is at Moutiers Salins Brides les Bains, 25-minutes away, which offers an excellent and frequent service including high-speed rail options (TGV, Eurostar, Thalys). From here it you can either catch a bus or book a taxi to take you the 20 kms to the resort.

There are numerous options on transfer vehicles to and from the airport. We can arrange a mini-bus, taxi, or chauffeur-driven service at your request. These need to be pre-booked well in advance to guarantee availability (prices on application).

Most of Bramble Ski’s luxury apartments and chalets have parking. If, by chance, the property you book doesn’t, we can organise off-road parking for your vehicles.

Please make sure you contact us to inform us of your time of arrival.
